　　收錄了四百多年來全球超過30,000位人物傳記的免費全文資料庫，提供整個世界有關人類社群記憶的超大型綜合檔案庫， 可做為戰史學家，社會學家，宗(系)譜學者，語言學家和心理學家進行研究的開端與素材。此索引典收錄涵蓋了全世界各地區超過1,000個不同的典藏機構，全資料庫超過650,000 頁(pages)。光是一個The Japanese American Relocation Digital Archive at the California Digital Library 就包含了2,500種(collections), 16,300 篇傳記故事(narratives), 260,000頁(pages)之檔案，資料庫引文可直接連結至此260,000頁全文及相關之錄影錄音檔案(video & audio files)。此資料庫傳記之形式包括有訪談(Interviews), 信函(letters), 日記(diaries),口述歷史 (oral histories) 及個人生平事跡 (personal narratives)等等。其中信函主題(letter)有63,000個。資料庫另含30,000個書目資料(bibliographic records)。全文每季更新。
