Oxford University Press推出Oxford Scholarship Online牛津學術線上電子書資料庫，收錄牛津大學出版社(Oxford University Press)超過1100本之學術叢書 (教科書)，主題範圍包括哲學(Philosophy)、宗教(Religion)、政治科學(Political Science)、經濟學和財政(Economics and Finance)等四大社會科學領域之嶄新學術論著, 達300,000 頁,超過一億字(100 million words)，紙版總值GBP38,000英磅(\逾兩百萬新台幣)。往後每年將次第增刊200種。每一圖書各章節之關鍵詞及摘要，大多數由原始作家撰寫。同時也提供了參考書目與附註之連結。主題中之摘要(Abstracts)及關鍵詞(keywords)並與EBSCO、Ingenta、ProQuest等主要電子期刊摘要檢索系統互聯。每一圖書及章節皆具各自之數位資料辨別碼 - DOI (Digital Object Identifiers)。
