敬啟者，

ProQuest 資料庫平台，預計於台北時間2009年6月28日上午10:00鐘起，停機進行系統升級，停機時間為12小時，至28日晚間10:00止，停機期間造成不便，敬請見諒。

系統更新項目如下，完整說明，歡迎參閱以下原廠公告說明

· MLA 書目格式變更：ProQuest 提供之匯出書目功能，其中MLA 格式之書目依最新公布的第七版做變更。

· 由Google Scholar 連結至ProQuest 全文：透過ProQuest 管理介面 (LAD)設定，讀者即可由Google Scholar 檢索結果中，直接連結至ProQuest 資料庫全文

· 作者呈現格式修改：2007年已降之書目中，如包含作者資料，系統將改為姓在前，名在後的格式呈現，2007年以前之書目資料，將於往後陸續做變更。

The next ProQuest platform maintenance window will be on June 27, 2009. A twelve (12) hour maintenance window will take place to install these exciting new enhancements. The window will take place from Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 22:00 Eastern Standard Time to Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 10:00 Eastern Standard Time. See below for a more complete list of times and time zones.

We are pleased to announce the following enhancements:

MLA Citation Format Change—The citation generator is being updated to reflect the MLA documentation style found in the seventh edition.
Full Text linking with Google Scholar—Institutions with both Google Scholar accounts and ProQuest platform subscriptions can now see links to ProQuest full text content when searching Google Scholar. To begin seeing these links, use LAD (Local Administrator) to enable Google Scholar linking.
Author Naming Adjustments—In the citation generator area, author names will be presented in Last Name, First Name format. This is only for content that captures the author meta-data in a more granular format. This change reflects content from 2007 moving forward and will be added to archival content over time. Instances such as “staff writer” will not fit this format.

The following products will be unavailable during these windows:

ProQuest platform products, ProQuest Historical Newspapers (traditional and graphical K12 interface), American Periodicals Series
CSA Illumina products such as CSA Technology Research Database, Illustrata: Natural Sciences, and CSA Sociological Abstracts
K-12 products such as eLibrary, SIRS, and CultureGrams
